Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the website of the Kent Branch of the Moto Guzzi Club of Great Britain. We are a non exclusive owners club and anyone interested in Moto Guzzi motorcycles is invited to join us.

For details of how to join, please see here: MGCGB Membership

The Kent Branch is not a club in and of itself, we are all members of the MGCGB who reside in Kent and wish to organise rides and events in our region.

Duxford ride called off due to snow!

The Duxford Air museum ride out has been called off due to snowfall.

Saturday, 22 March 2008

Bring snow shoes...

At the moment the Duxford ride is provisionally still on. However, the weather forecast for tomorrow (Sunday 23rd March) is not good. Snow fall/sleet is predicted for most of South East and East of England.

A last minute confirmation of the ride will be made *CLICK HERE* in the "Your Rides" section, labelled as "Squadra Guzzista Ride-Out Number 3" at 08:00hrs on the morning of the ride (tomorrow morning).

Please check there BEFORE leaving the house. Of course, if you look out the window and it's snowing ... you can probably make up your own mind!

Potential meeting places in Kent

I'm compiling a suggested list of good places to meet up, cafes, pubs, that sort of thing. If you can think of any more, just contact me on the forums and let me know. I will add them to the map.

Imperial War Museum Duxford ride

A ride to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford has been organised by Joe over at the Squadra Guzzista website for this Sunday (23rd of March 2008).

The meeting place for Kent riders is the burger van in the B&Q car park (Google Map) in Strood at 09:00.

The journey should take about an hour and a half. The adult ticket price for entry to the museum is £16.00 (a reduced rate of £12.80 will be available if 10 or more of us turn up). Joe is organising this one as a Squadra Guzzista ride out, so further information is available from Squadra Guzzista.

The weather is looking OK (if cold) for Sunday, so I'm hoping a good few people will turn out for this ride!
